About Me

Hey there! I’m Jeff, the founder of Wingman. After a long career in sales and direct response marketing, I realized that most founders all eventually face the same challenge: how to take the next step in your business when you’re still doing all the selling yourself.

Founder-led sales is an important stage for any startup, but juggling sales while trying to grow your business can be overwhelming, and many companies struggle to get past this stage as a result. Whether they get spread too thin and both sales and product suffer, or they try and fail to hire right salespeople and train them successfully.

I’ve been there – I know what it’s like to wear all the hats at once, and be torn between growing the business and working on the business. Most founders get frustrated that they get stuck doing sales calls, but I found the opposite: I liked talking to people and helping them find the right solution much more than I liked building out processes and managing a team.

That’s why I created Wingman, to help busy founders scale past founder-led sales. I love working with startups and small businesses, and my mission is to help busy founders delegate sales and build effective sales teams without making the same mistakes I’ve seen so many companies make.

I specialize in offering fractional sales support, helping you delegate sales without compromising the quality and personal touch you offer your customers, but I also offer sales process improvement plans and provide a talent assessment + onboarding program to help you find the right salespeople who fit your culture and train them to drive results.

When I’m not helping businesses grow, you’ll find me nerding out on where to find the finest coffee (light roast, cold brew,) trying to visit every national park, or coaching entrepreneurs on how to tell better stories about their companies.
